Will The Ombudsman's Recommendations Be Accepted?
In most instances a public body will comply with the Ombudsman's recommendations. However if for some reason the body concerned fails to act on the Ombudsman's recommendations she has the power to present a special report to the Houses of the Oireachtas on the matter.
